My Husbands Grand Father

Going through my files I found this old photo that I did not take of my husbands Grand father, Mel Hopkins, Sr.   A very handsome man and a very talented portrait photographer in Detroit, MI.  I like restoring old photographs for friends and family.  So if you have any photographs that you would like me to work on and print just let me know!    So go through your parents photo albums and  see what kind of treasures you will find hiding away.

Tucker the Pit Bull Rescue Dog

Tucker2.jpg

Meet my dog Tucker. I found him at a shelter. He was about to be put down and was one sorry looking boy. He has a sweet personality and is so kind and loving. Not the media image of a Pit Bull at all. Support your local Pit Bull Rescue organization, and end discrimination through education and the responsible rehoming of pit bull type dogs in the Washington DC Metropolitan area, and in your community.

Iconic Portrait: The Father of the Internet wearing Google Glass!

Vint Cerf Sls7385.jpg

How cool is this? I just had to share. Used my mobile studio with none other than Vint Cerf, legendary Computer Scientist, recognized as one of “the fathers of the Internet”. He is wearing Google Glass – a wearable computer with a head-mounted display (HMD) that is being developed by Google in the Project Glass research and development project, with the mission of producing a mass-market ubiquitous computer. He was such a friendly and engaging person, too. Yes: he let me try out his device! Google Glass is AMAZING.
